The Profitable Farming Company; established in 2001 by Richard & Elizabeth Snell.

Our aim is to provide innovative products to enhance traditional and modern high technological farming. To sustain and improve farmer's incomes through cost savings and higher efficiency to ultimately improve your profit - hence our name Profitable Farming Company Ltd.

We are specialist in hay production and our flagship product Baler's Choice is aimed at improving hay quality and shortening the weather window by baling in the 16% to 30% moisture window (untreated hay needs to be under 16% moisture for safe storage).

Harvest Tec Inc. are the manufacturers of Baler's Choice; a buffered form of propionic acid with a pH of 6.0. The Harvest Tec range of applicators allows accurate application of the user & machinery friendly Baler's Choice to preserve hay.

The Profitable Farming Company Ltd. work closely with Harvest Tec and is the UK sole importer. We sell direct, but are increasingly selling through your local dealer, the product and applicator systems are now available from New Holland and Case as an optional extra with your new baler or can be fitted to your existing baler through your local New Holland dealer as CropSaver or you're your Case dealer as Thirty Plus.

To store your successfully treated hay and straw we also supply the only range of Performer Tarpaulins that have the unique "Super Cinch" tie down system. The most successful way of tie down a tarpaulin with minimum wind damage, this tarpaulin has 7 to 8 years UV protection; from this exceptional quality tarp you should expect an average life of five years.

To enhance hay production we have successfully under-took test in the UK with the Agway Hay "Accelerator" hay conditioner in 2005. The launch of the Accelerator will be spring 2006, the only built steel roller specialist hay conditioner in the UK will enhance drying by up to 50% quicker and will reduce the need for tedding and windrowing.

The Profitable Farming Company Ltd. work closely with the Canadian manufacturer and is the UK sole importer.

We also import from Nutritional Feed Additives Inc. that are the manufacturers for Animal-Pro Products a range of live yeast probiotics for all livestock and also Silomax SI a silage inoculant for all types of forage.
